Depaul UK is the largest national homeless charity for young people and has supported over 45,000 young people since it was founded in 1989.
We have over 30 varied projects around the U.K that help young people through supported housing, hostels, training and mentoring schemes and community cohesion. Our recent merger with Nightstop UK has expanded the area that we can reach around the UK and has increased the number of young people that we can help get emergency short term accommodation.
Depaul UK is part of the Depaul International that now has links in Ireland, Slovakia, Ukraine and U.S.A.
More than 70% of the young people who used our accommodation services moved on to their own homes successfully and 80% of the young people who used our family mediation service reported a positive outcome, such as successfully re-building relationships or returning to the family home.
Our pioneering Outside Link scheme is the first to work with young offenders and successfully re-house and support young people on their release. Depaul UK has also developed and successfully replicated our bespoke database system, a leading tool in the field.
